Our Story

Hi and welcome, my name is Ciaran and at Nymora, our journey began in the heart of Wales, in the charming seaside town of Aberystwyth. and this venture was born out of necessity, love, and a determination to create something better. In 2016, after the birth of our second son, my wife was diagnosed with psoriasis. Her hands, in particular, became red, inflamed, and unbearably sore—reacting to everyday items like liquid soaps, dish soap, shampoos, and even tap water.

Through countless hours of research, I uncovered an unsettling truth: many big brands prioritize cost over quality, using lab-processed chemicals known to irritate sensitive skin. For someone like my wife, these products were not just inadequate—they were harmful. I knew I had to take matters into my own hands.

Months of studying and experimenting led me to cold-processed soaps, widely regarded as the gold standard for skincare. I tested over 50 combinations of natural ingredients, refining blends until I found recipes that worked wonders—not just for my wife but for myself and others. Friends and family quickly noticed the difference. They described their skin as softer, cleaner, and radiant, and soon, they were asking for more. For many, there was no going back to mass-produced, synthetic body washes and liquid soaps.

In 2021, when my newborn daughter began developing eczema, I turned to the same soaps I had created with care. To my relief, they helped calm her redness and itchiness, proving again that natural, well-crafted products can be gentle yet effective.
